iMinds (previously: IBBT) is an independent research institute founded by the Flemish government to stimulate ICT innovation. The institute brings together companies, authorities, and non-profit organizations to join forces on research projects. iMinds unites more than 900 researchers from numerous Flemish universities and knowledge centres. It consists of 5 research departments. Each research group is specialized in one or more of the basic competencies of iMinds: networks of the future, advanced software technologies, multimedia and interfaces, policy and law, market issues and usability. Since its establishment in 2004, iMinds has run more than 250 projects, representing a total value of well over 250 million euro. For this application, two iMinds research groups participate, viz. MICT (Ugent) and SMIT (VUB). They both shape iMinds Research Department Digital Society.

Eurokleis assists companies and institutions in making the right decisions by offering information and consultancy services concerning the latest developments in the world of technology and innovation.

T6 is a small consultancy company based in Rome, offering highly specialized research and management support for research implementation. T6 works with international research institutions and companies. The company is composed of a group of people from different professional and geographical background who made their diversity a complementary and interdisciplinary strength. Research and management activities focus on socio-economic analysis, new technologies and environment as well as international cooperation.

The “Society, Innovation and Social Capital” unit of T6 carries out socio-economic research activities with the objective to promote innovation and sustainable growth of people, enterprises and territories. In its research activities, T6 adopts an interdisciplinary approach that combines, and develops both quantitative and qualitative methodologies, following when possible the action-research principles. In fact, analysis and interpretation are combined with ad-hoc interventions that aim at changing the analysed context, thanks to the active participation of relevant actors.

T6 experts in project and financial management developed specific methodologies for supporting research and the knowledge economy both at national and well.
